12/11/21 - CUREator has been launched!

CUREator is the national biotech incubator backed by $40m in MRFF funding, and are calling for Expressions of Interest from Australian researchers and early-stage biotechs.

In August this year, Brandon Capital’s MRCF announced it was the successful recipient of two MRFF Early Stage Translation and Commercialisation Support streams, providing $40m in grant funding towards preclinical medical research and medical innovations, and clinical-stage novel therapeutics in Australia. These two streams of funding and their related activity fall under the newly-created CUREator – a national biotech incubator run by Brandon Capital’s MRCF.

If you would like further information on CUREator, please visit: https://www.mrcf.com.au/cureator

A CUREatorwebinar has also been organised for 9 am AWST (midday AEDT) on Wednesday 17 November to discuss the EOI process before rounding off with a Q&A session – please register here for the webinar. For anyone interested in Western Australia, an in-person viewing session of the webinar will be held at the Harry Perkins Institute in Nedlands – please email hmikkelsen@brandoncapital.com.au if you would like to attend.

The closing date for first round applications is Monday 6th of December 2021.
