Message from the Chairperson

08/12/21 - I would like to thank each of our supporters for your contribution and dedication to the shared vision of what we have all created through Life Sciences WA. In the short nine months since the inception of our association, we have made great strides towards our goal of connecting, accelerating and promoting life sciences innovation in Western Australia.

2022 will be the culmination of a steady momentum, which has slowly been gathering within the WA life science industry. With Science on the Swan in May 2022 and the 2022 AusBiotech conference in October being held in Perth, Life Sciences WA hopes to use these events as a launch pad to promote, create new opportunities and showcase WA to the rest of the nation and wider globe.

Life Sciences WA is also currently working on an extensive event calendar, grant funding applications and profiling initiatives with a strong focus on agriculture, aquaculture and health. I look forward to sharing these with you and have no doubt that when we reflect this time in 2022, we will be proud of our achievements.

I’d also like to extend my gratitude to our Committee members for taking on the challenge in our endeavours to develop and grow the WA life sciences industry.

I wish you and your families a safe and happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the new year.
